Business Law & Real Estate: Case Study

Assisted a closely held corporation (husband and wife) in the multi-million dollar sale of their business to a large, publicly traded corporation after incorporating the start-up business approximately ten years earlier and serving as general counsel to the corporation during its growth period.

Commercial Litigation

Bryan’s litigation practice focuses on the resolution of legal problems efficiently. He regularly represent clients in a variety of mediation, arbitration, and trial matters, including business and commercial disputes, intellectual property, shareholder and management disputes, employment contracts, non-competition agreements, consumer issues, insurance coverage, and legal and other professional malpractice claims.

He also handles a wide variety of issues on behalf of both landlords and tenants, and other clients with real estate interests and holdings.

Commercial Litigation: Case Study

Successfully defended a retail business client against several consumer fraud claims under the Unlawful Trade Practices Act brought by a "powerhouse" West Coast law firm. All claims were dismissed on the merits following arbitration.

Professional Liability

Sometimes lawyers, accountants, and other licensed professionals make mistakes. If their conduct was careless, improper or negligent, then you may need the help of a legal malpractice attorney. Sometimes the conduct of the professionals we hire is dishonest or willful. In either case, Bryan can help you recover your losses.

Bryan's experience in professional liability litigation allows him to prosecute a wide variety of professional liability claims including claims against attorneys, accountants, and real estate and other professionals.

Professional Liability: Case Study

Assisted an elderly gentleman who had loaned a significant sum of money to another individual with the expectation that the repayment of that loan with interest would supplement his fixed income. When the loan went unpaid, my client hired an attorney to recover his losses. Unfortunately, because of the attorney’s inattention, the case was dismissed. We were able to recover these losses from the attorney’s malpractice insurance carrier without the need for litigation, saving considerable attorney fees.
